Sketches by "Boz," Illustrative of Every-day Life and Every-day People (commonly known as Sketches by Boz) is a collection of short pieces Charles Dickens published as a book in 1836. The 56 sketches concern London scenes and people, and the whole work is divided into four sections: "Our Parish", "Scenes", "Characters" and "Tales". The material in the first three sections consists of non-narrative pen-portraits, but the last section comprises fictional stories.

Reviews

Just a mild warning...This book does contain the words of Charles Dickens which I believe are no longer protected by copyright and can be copied by anyone. HOWEVER, the product is of extremely low quality. The pages aren't numbered. The text is unnecessarily small leaving lots of blank space on the page. There are no illustrations and no table of contents. This is a very poorly produced product.
